What is the World without Music?
The Fête de la Musique also known as World Music Day in English, is an annual music celebration that takes place, where people from all over the world are encouraged to play music. Free concerts are arranged, and musicians play without payment to honour the music industry.
German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once said, “Without music, life would be a mistake.”
GIB Insurance Brokers say, “Without insurance; damage, loss and injury may be a financial mistake.”
Likewise, as we come together to celebrate World Music Day, let’s keep the below in mind for insurance purposes:
For Event organisers and Funders to have the freedom of sharing in the experience across all mediums and platforms - Insure your event, music concert or show for concert-goers and attendees to enjoy, and for artists to perform and sing their hearts out, without the worry of being uninsured in the unfortunate event of anything going wrong.
What is Events Liability?
Event Liability insurance helps protect you from liability arising from injury to persons or damages to the venue's property.
What cover should you have in place?
Cover for damages which the event organiser becomes legally liable to pay.
What is Event Cancellation and Abandonment?
When the event is cancelled, abandoned or postponed due to circumstances beyond the organisers control.
What cover should you have in place?
Cover for the financial impact an event cancellation might have, this includes but is not limited to, insurance against expenses, ticket sales or sponsorship.
